Pearl Jam, the iconic Seattle grunge band, launched their highly anticipated Dark Matter World Tour on May 4, 2024, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. The tour marks the live debut of most of the songs from their latest album, Dark Matter.

Setlist Highlights

Of the 11 tracks on Dark Matter, Eddie Vedder and company performed nine during the Vancouver concert. Notably, they omitted only two songs: "Waiting for Stevie" and "Got to Give." Seven of these tracks received their live debuts that night, including the title track, the single "Wreckage," "Won't Tell," and the closing track, "Setting Sun."

Additionally, Pearl Jam treated fans to powerful covers of Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down," Mother Love Bone's "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns," and Neil Young's "Rockin' in the Free World." Hits like "Alive," "Corduroy," and "Daughter" also graced the setlist.

Upcoming Tour Dates

The Dark Matter World Tour continues with stops in Portland, Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Pearl Jam will headline Napa Valley's BottleRock Festival on May 25 and play a pair of hometown Seattle shows later that week. After a European leg, the North American dates resume in August, featuring performances at Chicago's Wrigley Field, New York's Madison Square Garden, and Boston's Fenway Park.

Stay tuned for more rock 'n' roll magic as Pearl Jam takes their new album on a global journey!
